On the first night, Thursday, Master Chunyi Lin gave an introduction and then led a group of about 250 people in a one-hour meditation in the Grand Ballroom. During the meditation, in an adjoining hall, a native group leading the “Wellbriety Movement” for recovery and healing held a ceremonial drumming and chanting session. The combination was almost choreographed, and very well integrated. Powerful intro, indeed!
